Responsible To: Education & Training Co-Ordinator

Location: Based in Belfast with hybrid working (This is a regional role requiring flexibility to work across Northern Ireland.)

Hours: Full-time: 37 hours, fixed term until 31st March 2028

Salary: £27,592 - £30,110

Job Details:

The Education Officer will lead on the design, delivery, and development of education and prevention activity under the Strategic Framework to End Violence Against Women and Girls led by The Executive Office (TEO) in Northern Ireland.

The postholder will contribute directly to the strategy’s prevention priority, supporting cultural and attitudinal change by delivering high-quality, trauma‑informed education programmes.

This includes work with schools, youth settings, community groups, professionals, and wider audiences to challenge harmful attitudes, promote healthy relationships, and prevent violence before it occurs.

The role requires a strong understanding of gender‑based violence, effective educational practice, and the Northern Ireland policy and safeguarding context.
